Help Families Put Food on Their Table - by Growing It!
The SeedLinks network helps urban home gardeners Grow Stronger, Together!
The Wildwoods Foundation is helping urban families living in "food deserts" begin home gardens. But it's not just about better nutrition. Families who garden spend more time outdoors and with each other. And kids who garden perform better in science, have greater self-esteem, and exhibit advanced social-emotional development.
These are crazy days, so it's nice to know that when you put a seed in the ground, it will sprout and grow. If you can, please help me provide this experience to more families.
