Hello Friends! This is personally a very important project for me and The Wildwoods Foundation. We are helping families create better food security by enabling them to grow their own food. Before the pandemic I would take a trip, at least once a month, to the Griffith Park Compost facility and load up our van with rich compost to help build the garden that launched this program.
Not only does this program help families create a better avenue for food, it teaches science and creates micro green spaces for all members of the family. Teaching children to garden and grow their own food will have long term positive repercussions; science in action.
